Native ChatGPT + Codex on your Mac

A harness that gets better at finishing.

AutoBot adds on-disk memory, privacy zones and an independent completion validator to a local ChatGPT or Codex Project.

#1 AssistantBench
50.70% accuracy across 181 hidden tasks
32.41% binary accuracy on all 108 OSWorld 2.0 tasks

Memory you can read

Canonical context stays in ordinary Project files, split by relationship and purpose. You can inspect, edit or remove it.

Work that survives a chat

Objectives, stages, evidence and recovery state stay on disk so an interrupted task can resume without guessing what remains.

Completion that needs proof

A separate validator checks ordered evidence and the real destination. A worker’s unsupported “done” report is not enough.

AutoBot is an operating layer inside a native local Project. It does not ask you to adopt a separate agent gateway or another chat shell.

Install AutoBot from https://github.com/demeyer1/Autobot, following INSTALL_FOR_AI.md. Verify the latest release ZIP and its manifest, install it, and guide me through selecting the installed folder as my local Project's primary folder.
Current boundary: AutoBot is an early public release for a single user on a Mac. Its privacy zones and validator separation are procedures within one macOS account, not OS isolation or a guarantee that every external action will succeed.
